I will never forget the parting words of one mom-to-be as she left my ultrasound room. Despite the fact that her scan was happening in the midst of COVID and she was unable to have any family members present (including her partner), she turned to me before leaving and said, “Thank you for making this experience so special for me.” That sentiment touched me so deeply. The fact that I was able to help make this momentous life event so positive for her, even though it was just the 2 of us, is a beloved career moment that I will cherish forever. That is why I do what I do. That is why I love going to work everyday. And that is the exact moment that inspired me to start this business. After 6 years of working in a high-risk obstetrical setting, being witness to the highest of highs and lowest of lows, it wasn’t until I sustained a potentially career-ending injury that I finally decided to switch my focus to what truly brings me joy – the pure happiness on the faces of parents-to-be when they’re introduced to their little ones via the amazing technology of ultrasound. I will forever be grateful to all the parents-to-be that allow me to share in this intimate experience with them and I look forward to making it a special experience for you and your loved ones too!
